A series of gentle, flowing movements with balanced breathing, the Tai Chi Gung exercises are practiced for health and longevity with a focus on calm, meditative awareness and connecting to the life force energy that moves within us and throughout nature.
The ancient practice of Tai Chi Gung comes from the Darchen Lamasery in Tibet, passed down unchanged through a 3,000-year lineage. First called ‘simple yoga,’ it has roots in Hatha, Pranayama, and Kundalini Yoga, with a profound regenerative effect on all systems of the body; increasing strength and mobility, supporting stress relief and calm mental focus, helping to ground and balance energy, connecting mind, body, and spirit.
Embrace your inner peace with the ancient practice of Tai Chi Gung as originally taught by Lao Tzu.
Tai Chi Gung is low-impact and can be adjusted to suit physical ability. Practice is done standing; no yoga mat necessary. Props will be provided as needed.
