Bachata is a style of social dance from the Dominican Republic which is now danced all over the world. It is connected with bachata music.

Yes, these classes are suitable for complete Beginners! Even with 2 left feet!  This is one of the easier partner dances to learn for sure.

Everyone is welcome: singles, couples, friends, same-sex couples- everyone!

We are currently offering an OPEN level class - this means all levels are welcome.

You can only join this course in Week 1 and 2 if you have no previous experience as it is a progressive course.

What to wear:

• Comfortable casual clothes
• If you do not already have dance shoes, then we recommend flat shoes with smooth (non-grip) sole.  You can order practice dance shoes from us – but please note they take 3-4 weeks to arrive and are ordered on pre-payment.
• We recommend to bring a bottle of water - $2 water available at reception
• It is a partner dance, so don’t forget a mint, a deodorant and a small towel on a hot day!
