This class is for homeschool students ages 11 and up. Students will meet weekly to develop skills to build towards joining the Junior Concert Band. Instruction will include building techniques for woodwind, brass and percussion beyond the beginner level and at an accelerated rate. Students must have a minimum of one year experience on their instrument. Students in this class will perform in all recitals. Daily practice is a requirement for students in these classes.

 Required materials: *Standard of Excellence Book 1 and 2 (red and blue book for chosen instrument), *instrument, *maintenance items (grease, oil, reeds, etc), binder, and a pencil. (*Items may be ordered/found at Ernie Williamson Music in Park Hills).

A parent or guardian must be present at the first class to meet with the instructor.

There is a 4 student minimum for this class. If the minimum enrollment is not met, you will be notified by the instructor and will able to choose another class, or wiil be offerred a refund.

All students are required to perform at the end of semester recital.
