Kickstart Your New Year with Workout 101!
Are you ready to start 2025 feeling stronger and energized? Are you intimidated by gyms and fitness classes for people who are already super-fit?
Start your fitness journey with Workout 101—a 4-week workshop designed for everyone, all ages, sizes, and experience levels are welcome. This course is the perfect way to get started and learn the basics of exercise in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.
When we say “no experience necessary”, we mean it! If you don’t know a dumbbell from a deadlift, this course is for YOU.
You’ll learn the basics of: you’ll learn:
- Resistance/weight training for stronger muscles and bones
- Cardiovascular training for heart health and mood
- Flexibility practices that help prevent injury—and feel great!
Led by Jenn Farrell, a personal trainer and fitness instructor with over 13 years of experience, each 60-minute session will guide you through safe, effective workouts that are totally accessible, no matter your current fitness level.
Classes take place at Witness the Fitness, a welcoming queer- and body-positive private gym.

When: January 9th-30th /5:30-6:30pm (4 x 60-minute classes).
Cost: EARLY BIRD PRICING (until December 15th, 2024) $135 + GST per person. REGULAR PRICING: $150 + GST. Some reduced-rate spots are available if cost is a barrier! Contact Jenn at jenn@witnessthefitness.ca with the subject line “Community Love” for details.
Cancellation Policy and Gym Information
Women’s Workout 101 is a four-week course held on 4 consecutive Thursdays from January 9th-30th, inclusive. Payment in full secures and confirms your registration.
Once payment has been received, you may cancel until 48 hours prior to start of the course/workshop. After 48 hours, no refunds will be given, but a credit note for the dollar value of the course will be issued (applicable to any future Witness the Fitness course offered by Jenn Farrell) as long as this is communicated 24 hours prior to the course starting. You may withdraw from a course after the first session, but no later than the second session in order to receive a WTF credit for the pro-rated value of the remaining sessions, unless full withdrawal is necessary for a documented medical reason. No credits, refunds, or make-up classes will be issued for any missed sessions within a multiple session course or workshop. If WTF/Jenn Farrell needs to cancel a course/workshop, a full or pro-rated refund will be offered.
