The Yoga Extension is delighted to introduce Karen Watt of Edinburgh Sound Massage.  She has been a sound practitioner for nine years. She trained in Spain under Christine Heckel after experiencing a transformational “sound massage” with Nepalese singing bowls on a yoga retreat. This single treatment completely changed the course of her life and was the catalyst for her continuing exploration into sound and vibration and their effects on our physical, mental, emotional and subtle body. Through the sound and vibrations of the gongs, singing bowls and other ancient instruments we are brought into resonance, tension is dissolved, the mind is calmed, the spirit is lifted and we enter a state of deep relaxation and equilibrium. 

Frances will introduce the workshop with some restorative poses to settle and prepare the mind and body for the sound healing with Karen.  There will be some tea after the workshop

Give yourself a new experience at The Yoga Extension to help you navigate the Christmas rush.  Settle back for an afternoon of restoration with Frances and Karen.  Enjoy this unique experience ...A Christmas gift to yourself.  Rough time will be  about an hour of restorative poses with Frances followed by about an hour and 20 minutes sound bath with Karen, then some time for tea afterwards.  If you have an unlimited pass the workshop will be reduced to £20.  Otherwise the workshop will be £30
