RULES FOR SHOWCASE PARTICIPATION:

1. Attendance: All participants must commit to attending all rehearsals and performances as scheduled. Regular attendance is essential for the success of the performance. Missing more than 2 classes can disqualify you from stage participation. Attendance for all Merging Sessions is required as well. Please mark your calendars appropriately. Attendance for all 3 stage performances is required as well. April 25th and 26th are performance dates. There will be 2 performances on Saturday and 1 performance on Sunday.

2. Punctuality: Participants are expected to arrive on time for all rehearsals and performances. Late arrivals can disrupt the flow of the rehearsal and may result in missed important instructions.

3. Respect: Respect for fellow dancers, choreographers, and instructors is paramount. Treat everyone with kindness, professionalism, and support. Any form of discrimination, bullying, or harassment will not be tolerated.

4. Discipline: Dedicate yourself to the rehearsal process and be prepared to put in the necessary effort to learn and perfect the choreography. Practice outside of scheduled rehearsals is encouraged.

5. Costume and Makeup: Participants will be responsible for acquiring their costumes and necessary makeup, as instructed by the choreographer. Costumes should be well-maintained, clean, and appropriate for the performance.

6. Health and Safety: Prioritize your physical and mental well-being. Warm up properly before each rehearsal and take care to avoid injuries. Inform the choreographer and team about any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your ability to perform.

7. Cooperation: Work as a team, cooperate with other dancers, and follow the instructions of the choreographer and rehearsal director. This includes learning and executing the choreography as directed and making adjustments as necessary.

8. Confidentiality: All choreography, music, and other artistic elements of the performance are the intellectual property of the choreographer. Participants are expected to maintain confidentiality and not share or reproduce any materials without prior permission.

9. Commitment to Excellence: Strive for excellence in your performance. Give your best effort and work towards continuous improvement throughout the rehearsal process.

10. Stage time/ positions: Due to the size of each batch, everyone might not be on stage for the entire duration of performance. Instructor reserves the right to decide positions and transitions.
