David and Chris met in a year-long communications course in 2020 and have been friends ever since. In daily life, David is a systems engineer who lives in Groton, Connecticut and recently proposed to the love of his life. They are engaged to be married this coming year! Chris is a writer and a maker who lives in Boston with his wife, who just opened a retail store in Cambridge. David and Chris have been studying and practicing communication together since they met and have been leading workshops and courses about Listening for two years. They created The Magic of Listening, a six-week online course, as a practical means for people to experience the magic of authentic connection and to access the life-changing superpower of choosing to listen and be present, which each of us has within ourselves. Everyone has this intrinsic ability - all it takes is practice!
