Are you confident about meditation? Do you understand what you're doing?
The world of meditation may seem overwhelming. There are many
schools
of thought and practice, and choosing a path can be daunting. Many
people
become frustrated and give up without ever really experiencing the
benefits
of meditation.
Do you need some help, some aid?
Every meditation can be organized into just 3 steps:
A.D.E.
Arrive, Discover, and Execute.
First, you “Arrive”-you show up and become present.
Next, you “Discover” what's going on within yourself and
determine what type of
meditation you need.
Finally, you “Execute” the plan.
In today's world, it's important to know how to relax and renew
ourselves
with meditation. Once everything is organized into A.D.E., you'll
discover
that meditation is the simplest thing in the world.
In this workshop various techniques and exercises will be demonstrated. They are short and simple and can easily be practiced anytime, anywhere. Many methods of meditation will be discussed and, afterward, you will have dispelled the idea that to meditate is to do something requiring great effort or commitment. You will discover that meditation is not so mysterious, after all. It’s the easiest thing in the world to do.
Whether you’re interested in relaxing, reducing stress, relieving pain, connecting to your creativity, or exploring your subconscious, come meditate with us for an afternoon—it could change your life.
In 1987 Danny moved to New York City and quickly discovered that it was truly the city that never sleeps. He found himself lying awake at nights, unable to sleep, tormented by the constant chaos that lurked just outside his bedroom window. Quite unexpectedly, he discovered meditation, and soon found himself sleeping like a baby.
Now, with 30 years of study and practice, he enjoys great powers of concentration, breathing control, and expanded awareness. His understanding of meditation comes from a combination of philosophies, technologies, and various life experiences. Without meditation, not only would sleep be elusive, but he is sure he would have ended up in the nearest insane asylum!
