This January marks an important milestone -- the 50th anniversary of the Iyenger Institute in Pune, India.  As many of you know, Jeanne Segal and Raina Fishbane went to this center of Iyengar Yoga learning last year to study.  They also take classes every week (on zoom) with Abhijata Iyengar, the granddaughter of BKS Iyengar.

 

To celebrate this significant anniversary, Jeanne and Raina will be doing a special “Pune style” class on Sunday January 12 at 2 pm. In person and online. $35 workshop fee. 

 

In this workshop, they will lead a class based on a sequence taught by Abhijata Iyengar this past year.  As is the style of classes in India, the workshop will be fast paced, incredibly instructive and most importantly, fun.

 

The workshop is open to and appropriate for students at all levels.  After the class, there will be a 30 minute Q and A for anyone who is interested about the Institute and its history, along with a cup of chai!
