A 'mini' YTT weekend to deepen your practice and awaken your heart's calling

Whether you're brand new to yoga or want to go in deeper, this intensive and intentional weekend will help you discover how yoga integrates into your own life. If you've been curious about our YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) this is a perfect taste of what that experience feels like. 

Whether you're wanting to learn more about yoga, understand how to modify poses for your body, go deeper into philosophy and subtle energy, or even curious about teaching yoga. This weekend retreat is a way to drop in deeper to your own heart and its leadings in your life.

We will explore foundations of the practice of yoga, what makes asana (yoga poses) different from other forms of movement, principles of meditation, kinesiology specific to yoga, and Samadhi + integration with mind, body, and spirit.

• Session 1 | Nov 1: 6:00 - 8:00PM
  Opening Ceremony and Yoga Theory & Philosophy
  Drop into the ancient teachings and understandings of yoga. Learn about 8 limbs of yoga, the yoga sutras, and Tantra and how they withstand the test of time. Begin exploring the deeper meaning of why you’re here.

  Subtle Energy: Chakras, Pranavayus, Reiki and Kundalini
  Connect to the energy that flows within your body. Learn how energy moves, experience the creative power of shakti and shiva, and begin re-awakening the Sat Chit Ananda we all hold.

  Principles of Alignment
  Break down the poses on an individual level through the seven moving principles that will be your guiding thread for all yoga practices.

• Session 4 | Nov 3: 10:30 - 12:30
  Ayurveda & Integration Into Your Daily Life
  Cultivate a home practice that opens you to the nectar of soma, bliss, and pure vitality in your life. Weave the past three days together into your lifestyle that is sustainable, supportive, and deepening.

  Closing Ceremony
  We will end with a restorative practice, a meditation journey, journal reflections, and a sweet ceremony to set you back into the week with fresh eyes and heart.

* We require a minimum of 5 students pre-registered by Oct. 11 for this workshop to take place. By registering for this weekend intensive retreat, you are committing to attend all five sessions. The two optional classes are part of our yoga schedule and included in the cost of this retreat. Meals are vegan and gluten free. If you are not able to attend, we can record the class on request.
