Meditation can be overwhelming and even frustrating when starting for the first time. Allow Warren, our meditation specialist, to guide you in an easy and welcoming journey into meditation. Meditation is the foundational pillar to strong physical and mental health. Bridging the mind and the body from the conscious to the unconscious, meditation accesses information to unlock your full potential.
In this workshop, you will learn a variety of ways to begin a mindful and regular meditation practice, so you can discover what meditative style is best for you. This two-hour workshop will combine discussion and yogic practice and will finish with a calming restorative state for complete relaxation and revitalization. Please dress for yoga, bring a water bottle, notebook, and pen.
Real Talk: Many people avoid meditation, but embrace the physical practice of yoga. It is important to learn the art of meditation to go deeper into your yoga practice. If you are a regularly-practicing yogi, then it is time to pull off the band-aid and begin your meditative practice as well. Jen is just the instructor to help you get to a new level of mindfulness and gratitude.
