BACHATA STRUT YOUR STUFF - summer performance challenge.
Level: Fundamentals and Intermediate Bachata students

Baza's Strut Your Stuff challenge is specifically designed for students who have been taking Baza's Progressive Partner Dance Courses for at least 6 months (currently in Fundamentals or higher) OR equivalent dance knowledge and experience in Bachata dancing. Students MUST know their bachata basics and be dancing socially for at least 6 months.

The summer performance challenge edition will teach students a 2 minute choreographed Bachata routine which will be specially themed and performed at one of the dates at Sunday Afternoon Salsa at Robson Square in July or August.
The routine will involve a little bit of everything - Dominican solo footwork/styling sequences as well as partnered sequences in Fusion and Moderna styles.

Schedule: Bachata Strut Your Stuff - Showcase Edition training takes place on:
- Choreo training on Thursdays, 8:30-10pm from May 8 to June 26 (8 weeks).
- PLUS Students must also select either 8 drop-in solo classes (Bachata Body Movement with Alex on Tuesdays, Bachata Sensual Styling with Kristal on Wednesdays, or Bachata Swag with Juan on Thursdays) OR 1 Fundamentals or Intermediate Bachata Partnerwork 8-week course to supplement their training during this session.
Students must commit to full 8 weeks. Final performance is optional and date will be selected based off the majority availbility of students.

Cost: $380 + GST per person ($250 for All Access and Solo Members, discount should apply at check-out)

Includes:
- 20 hours of choreography and technique training (1 Bachata partnerwork or solo work class per week + 1.5 hours of choreography training every Thursday for 8 weeks)
- a choreographed 2 minute routine
- participation in live performance at Sunday Afternoon Salsa at Robson Square in July or August.

(please note there may be addtional cost for costume/shoes expenses which students will be responsible for - instructor will do her best to take budget constraints into account when determining costuming)
