Yoga for Chronic Neck and
Shoulder Pain
Sunday, December 1, 2-4pm
Living with tightness or chronic
pain in the neck and shoulders is common, but not irreversible. In
this workshop, Cat will focus on the techniques that you can use
during your yoga class to help you alleviate neck pain and
tightness in the shoulders and upper back.
Many people hold day-to-day stress in the shoulders and upper spine and we know that yoga can help! You will learn techniques to focus on in class as well as simple exercises you can practice outside of class on your own. You have the ability to use yoga to bring you to your highest state of health. Yoga is both curative and preventative.
If you have a deeper yoga practice, over time these exercises will also help you increase the range of motion of your upper spine and shoulders for more advanced postures like pigeon, dancer, full camel and other fuller backward bends or deeper forward bends.
