Breathwork is one of the fastest growing modalities in mental and physical health, including the wellness world, and with good reason.
With its roots in Ancient and indigenous practices, the Western world is finally waking up to the vital role the breath plays in our overall wellbeing, our performance and our communities.
With this rise in popularity, breathwork has come to mean many different things to different people. At Aura Breath and Inner Space, we don’t believe you should be confined to just one modality of breathwork, everyone can benefit from a broad spectrum of practices falling under the umbrella of breathwork.
Tools, tips and insightful experiences for all!
If you’ve heard of breathwork but don’t know where to start or what type of breathwork is most beneficial for you, then join us for this intro class. Whether you're looking to deepen your breathwork practice, build community, dive a bit deeper into your healing or work through specific challenge, there's something for you in this introductory session.
You breathe over 23,000 times every single day, with each breath sending signals between the brain and the body. Learn more about how breathing is an entry point to nervous system regulation and the unforgettable bridge that connects mind with the body and the brain-body to higher consciousness.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
• Introduction to two categories of breathwork
• Somatic warm up exercise
• Identifying your breath pattern and your body tolerance to carbon dioxide
• Breath tips and tools
• Experience slow coherence breathing curated to a signature tune

What do I need to bring?
• Please wear loose, warm and comfortable clothing
• Ideally avoid caffeine and eat a light meal two hours before the class
• Yoga mats are provided but for added comfort, please bring a small pillow, your own
shawl/soft blanket and a water bottle
• Journal/notebook and pen
• Eye Mask
