6-Week Offseason Throwing Technique Program
Tuesday & Wednesday 7-8:30p.m.
Saturday 9-10:30a.m.
Ages 10-13

During this 6 week stretch we’ll tackle critical technical issues on both top half of our body and bottom half associated with flying open , leaking on front side of body and reaching amongst others. We will be implementing specific drills and movements to combat and fix these issues and progress the players into a more consistent stability and balance.
Some of the movements and positions we'll focus on will be :
Glute Loading
Driving
Hip closure
Hip connection
Tilt Closure
Foot strike placement
Front side hip rotation
This will ultimately begin to lead to a healthier, more repeatable delivery. Every week we'll be re- evaluating where we are as individuals and as a group. We will establish an objective for that week, which will have several movements and drills to support our focus. This class is very technique focused to better our overall arm health, improve consistency in our throws and improve overall velocity.
