A mindful,
meditative, compassionate space to learn about No-Buy Practices and
reframe a sense of enoughness.
Join Abi, a long
time No-Buy advocate and learn about the history of consumerism,
why it's impacting our wellbeing, and meaningful ways we can
reframe our belongings and their purposes.
Explore the concept
of “no-buy” through the lens of self-empowerment:
-history of
consumerism and marketing
-guided meditations
to explore the sensation of “stuff”
-contentment
(santosha): what does “enough” look like?
Our
goals:
-an embodied
approach to stewardship through mindfulness
-an increased
capacity to release and recieve
For those
interested, this workshop is followed by a gratitude centered yoga
class! Both are pay-what-you-can. Explore yoga as a tool for embodiment around the
themes of thankfulness, gratitude, and santosha (contentment).
Learn how our physical postures, breath, and intention can help us
express and expand our capacity to feel grateful. All abilities and
experience levels welcome. Sign up for the yoga class

About our pay-as-you-can
model:
Our highly qualified teachers are paid a
percentage of the donations made in their classes. Class Passes or
paying $15 per class when you can is what keeps our studio alive,
but we understand that we often need mindfulness most when we are
going through financial hardships. We have no expectations other
than that you are honest with what you are able to invest in your
mental and physical health. Thank you for practicing with
