Use the power of breath to journey within the “soma,” a.k.a.
within your body, to promote self-exploration and healing.
In this workshop, you’ll engage in a series of deep, rhythmic
breathing techniques to guide you inward and access your
subconscious mind, followed by a soothing sound bath.
This style of breath can lead to:
- Experiencing non-ordinary states of consciousness
- Intense emotional release
- Memories resurfacing
- Insight and clarity about life circumstances
- Physical sensations such as tingling, change in body temperature, or muscle tension
- A heightened sense of connection to oneself and others
That being said, it is your responsibility as the participant to
discern if this type of breathwork is for you at this time. Only
you know if you currently have the capacity to hold yourself with
love in whatever emotions, thoughts, or sensations surface. If your
experience becomes uncomfortable, you will be given tools to calm
the nervous system and ground.
Participants should be in good health physically and mentally.
Those with cardiovascular problems, severe hypertension, epilepsy,
and certain psychiatric conditions are advised to consult with
their healthcare provider before participating.
