Life is busier than ever. People are
more stressed out & looking for healthy ways to manage the
complexities of modern life. Meditation has been scientifically
proven to reduce stress & anxiety, increase clarity &
concentration & aide in how you process & respond to
situations around you. It can lower blood pressure & help
regulate your nervous system.
For students new to meditation, this workshop will teach you the
basics of how to meditate., how to create a personal meditation
practice & how to incorporate meditation into your daily
routine. If you have a meditation practice, this workshop will
teach you additional techniques to further your meditation skills
& help you create a personal practice to use on a regular
basis. For yoga teachers, this workshop will count as 1.5 hours of
Continuing Education hours.
This workshop is led by Stephani Jungmeyer, who has her E-RYT 500
& YACP designations through Yoga Alliance. In addition to
practicing meditation herself & teaching meditation in Yoga
Teacher Training & her weekly classes, she has trained with the
Insight Meditation Society, completing several meditation retreats
& advanced meditation courses. Stephani has found meditation to
be extremely valuable in her own life & is passionate about
sharing this tool with others.
