Come to the mat and hold your own heart.
This workshop is inspired by the yogic principle of Ahimsa, or non-violence, which teaches us to do no harm to ourselves or others. Together, we’ll explore how to nurture self-love, release self-judgment, and embrace our true, whole selves through yoga practices and connection.
Throughout this 2.5-hour workshop, we will use a few tools and techniques to practice Ahimsa and build self-compassion. With reflection, journaling, and community support, you will begin to rewrite your own narrative on treating yourself with loving-kindness. We will also move - both through a hip-focused slow yoga flow and with somatic release. The workshop will conclude with a special Yoga Nidra, giving yourself time to rest and restore before finally creating a simple self-love practice to take with you.
Expect time to meditate and be still in your space; listen and share your experiences with Ahimsa; move your body to tune into yourself; and finally, enjoy yogic sleep and insights through Yoga Nidra.
