Practicing yoga can be a powerful
way to help yourself heal after loss. Whether your loss
is the death of a loved one, the end of a significant relationship,
or surviving a major health crisis or traumatic event, the grief
process is often slow and meandering. Yoga can help to
comfort you in times of sadness and grief, to feel connection or
closure with who or what is lost, and to open your heart and be in
the present.
This ongoing workshop helps students develop a toolkit for
resilient grieving, including yoga and movement, breathwork,
meditation and reflection, journaling, and the company of others
experiencing loss. Join Joe-Paul and this yoga group of
students addressing grief, adjusting to a new world after loss, and
focusing on renewal and investment in health and
relationships.
