9-12 YEARS - BEGINNER 1: The FIRST part of the five-long course long German Beginner sequence.

Materials are not included in the tuition.

Teaching Method: Native-fluency instructors promote the use of German in the classroom by using German activities, games, songs, visual elements as well as manipulatives. Instructors use various audio and visual elements that are complementary and inter-related so that the same vocabulary or element of grammar is practiced and reinforced in many different ways to create variety, encourage participation and avoid boredom.

Beginner level description: A great course for students who are 9 to 12 years old and have little or no experience with German. 

Communication: Students will learn how to say their names, animal names, spell names and words, recognize international words, greet and say goodbye, introduce others, express how they are when asked. 

Phonetics: Songs, short and long vowels, syllables and word accents, the alphabet song, accent and rhythm.
