Beginner 1 level description:

A great course for those who have never had any Farsi or those who would like to start their studies over from scratch. Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the Beginner 1 level: 

COMMUNICATION: Greetings and farewells, introducing yourself, using written and spoken forms, using formal and informal forms, asking yes/no questions, talking about your nationality, hometown and profession, describing people and things, talking about family, your courses, your age, identifying class objects and people, expressing like, dislikes needs, and possession, counting and calculating.

GRAMMAR: Present tense of “to be”, pronouns, verb agreement, sentence structure, stress & intonation, the Ezāfe construction, present tense of “to have”, conjunction with va, demonstrative pronouns, nouns: specific, non-specific & generic, specific direct object marker, possessive pronouns with māl.

VOCABULARY: Greetings words and phrases, farewell words and phrases, nationalities, hometowns, professions, adjectives, family members, fields of study, class subjects, numbers (1-100), age-related words, arithmetic words.

Next level: Farsi Beginner 1.2 or greater.
