Most of us live and move unconsciously throughout the day, free to enjoy the things we love. But how do we address problem areas that arise from genetics, daily activities or bad habits which cause restriction, discomfort or pain? There is a wondrous web of muscles and fascia beneath the surface of the body that we can learn to understand and change ourselves, so let’s take a closer look.
This workshop will:
- Highlight common problem areas including postural imbalances
- Give you a better understanding of physical anatomy - bony attachments, muscle locations and actions, the importance of fascia
- Increase awareness of what affects your range of motion
- Teach you self-myofascial tools and techniques that will change your body
- Allow you to receive hands-on myofascial release from the presenter
- Help to improve your yoga practice
- Offer you tips for coaching your students
