Learn a friendly and systematic introduction to meditation and mindfulness techniques that can be applied in daily life reducing stress and increasing a sense of well being. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience.
Techniques to be Explored:
Mindfulness of the breath
Mindfulness of the body
Mindfulness of thoughts and emotions and an intentional
orientation to goodwill
and care
Key Concepts:
Focused attention can be described as sustained alertness or
concentration
Present moment is the only moment we have to connect with our
lives in
meaningful ways. It is an antidote to dwelling on the past or
worrying about the
future.
