Jaret isn’t just a world-class athlete. He’s a force of nature in the waterskiing world — a competitor whose name is synonymous with excellence, longevity, and inspiration. With a career that spans over three decades, Jaret has earned more than 100 professional titles, multiple world records, and a place at the very top of the global stage. He’s been a constant on podiums and in headlines, but more importantly, he’s been a source of motivation and belief for everyone who has watched him ski, trained beside him, or had the privilege to learn from him. Here in Alberta, he has made our community proud time and time again — representing not just Canadian waterskiing, but the spirit of what it means to be dedicated, resilient, and humble in greatness. He’s paved the way for the next generation of skiers — including his own son Dorien — and has elevated this sport in ways that words can barely contain. To the world, he is a legend. To Canada, he is a national treasure. To Alberta, he is a hometown hero. And to all of us at Shalom Park — he is family.
