Join Us for “Getting Ready for Baby: A Pregnancy to Parenthood Training”
This virtual six-week training program is designed for expectant mothers and birthing persons in the prenatal period or within 8 weeks postpartum. We’ll cover a variety of essential topics to help you prepare for life with a new baby, including:
Breastfeeding and formula feeding
Pelvic floor health
What to expect during the first six weeks with your baby
Common challenges couples face when adjusting to life with a newborn
Maternal mental health
The program incorporates elements of The ROSE Program (Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials for Mothers of Newborns), which is endorsed by the United States Preventive Services Task Force. The ROSE Program provides education on:
Preventing and managing postpartum depression
Navigating the transition to motherhood
Strengthening relationships and communication
Practicing self-care and assertiveness
Setting goals and accessing local postpartum resources
