This weekly class is the logical continuation of the self defense course. The 3 elements are:
1. Self Defense
We practice self-defense moves to keep them top of mind, and more importantly, “top of muscle”. After all, the goal is immediate reaction. The only way to do that is with consistent practice.
2. Sparring
Sparring regularly improves reaction time and pattern recognition for subtle moves that precede aggression. A great bonus of sparring is that it is a super HIIT workout without feeling like one.
3. Weapons Training
No, we don't expect to carry actual nun-chucks with us when we are out and about (or staffs and swords), this is just for fun. Plus learn some Kodak-worth poses. :)
