Part 1- Essential Oils – the Heartbeat of the Plant Kingdom
Learn where essential oils come from, benefits of their use and the 3 basic ways we use them today. You will have an opportunity to try many common oils and make a roller ball blend of your choice to take home.

Part 2- Healing Oils of Ancient Times
Learn the role aromatic plants have long played in the lives of people from ancient Egypt to Biblical times. Experiment with oils used for healing and ancient ceremonies by anointing the head of a fellow classmate or on yourself. Enter into meditation and balance your chakras (energy centers of the body) by using essential oils. Understand what each chakra represents and practice a technique to keep energy flowing for optimum wellbeing.

Part 3- Healthy Cooking with Essential Oils
Essential oils are great for adding pizazz and spice to your favorite recipe. Learn the basic essential cooking oils, how to cook with them, and discover a few that will surprise you. Try some delicious treats made with essential oils and make an essential oil smoothie. Explore recipes to use over the holidays for gifts or meals using essential oils and other pure ingredients.
