On a physical level, Tai Chi improves strength, flexibility, aerobic conditioning and balance. It’s been proven to improve cardiovascular fitness, lower blood pressure, prevent falls and help people who have arthritis. It is a fitness program that is suitable for all shapes and sizes.
There are also immense emotional and mental benefits. The deliberate movements help people to feel more relaxed, grounded and present in their bodies. This lowers anxiety, stress and depression; while improving memory, focus and sleep.
Cat Lang-Bigley will lead this introductory program. Following the Intro, you will be able to register for the unlimited pass for the month of March at a cost of $50.00. This allows you to attend any offered sessions (sign up per session) as well as other classes offered such as Yin Yoga, Kickboxing/Kettle Bells, Aerial Silks, and Bungee.
