SETTING INTENTION THROUGH GENTLE MOVEMENTS, JOURNALING AND YOGA NIDRA
We will begin this workshop with gentle movements to settle us into our bodies and help to release any tension we are holding in our physical body.
From a grounded, rejuvenated place, we will create a “Sankalpa.” Unlike a result based “resolution”, a Sankalpa is an intention, or a planting of a seed for what you wish to grow. We plant this seed or intention from the place of “I am enough.” This is a powerful tool of yoga that anchors and orients us from within.
We will then move into the practice of Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep where your intention is received at the deepest level. This is a guided meditation technique that takes you through the various layers of the body, mind and emotional body to help release tension and induce a deep state of relaxation.
