Non-Equipment Pilates Classes are designed specifically with the Helen’s Intensive Pilates Method in mind. Helen’s method not only encompasses the use of your own body weight, which in turn creates resistance, but as in Mat Pilates, it incorporates many Pilates props. For example: Stability Bar, Roller, Resistant Band, Kettle bell, Stability Ball and Pilates Ring are useful tools for demonstrating, creating and performing a healthy and beneficial Pilates routine. These various non-equipment props allow for a maximum workout that will focus on your core, hips, lower back and gluts.

Non-Equipment Pilates Trial Class

Our studio, located at 2521 Avenue U in
Brooklyn, New York is the first of Helen’s Intensive Pilates
Studios to open.
This studio offers a great selection of classes
to help our members lead a healthy and productive lifestyle. We
offer private, semi-private, and small group sessions
on Pilates Apparatus. Our
studio’s Pilates Equipment classes
include:
Reformer, Power of Tower, Wall Tower,
Chairs, Cadillac, Pilates on the Edge, Springboards, Arcs, Cardio
Pilates with Jump Board and the innovative and
exciting AntiGravity Ariel Silks, CoreAlign
® and MOTR ®, which are
our latest additions to Pilates Apparatus classes.
Our clients have an exceptional opportunity to
diversify their workout experience with numerous
exciting Non-Equipment classes such
as: Barre Pilates , KettleBell Fusion, CardioWeight ,
Yogatoning, Piloxing , Zumba, Yin/Restorative
Yoga and FitBall. Our Equipment
and Non-Equipment group classes offer an
extensive variety of props such as: Foam Rollers,
Circles, Resistant Bands,
PhysioBalls, Weighted Balls for
an optimal exercise experience.
*Avenue U location is great with Parking, both
municipal and non-municipal is available. The nearby train station,
with the Q line and multiple bus lines, allows clients to travel
easily using public transportation.
