Marco Walraven Diaz De Leon, is a multi instrumentalist currently finishing up a Bachelors of Applied Music at VCC majoring in Voice and minoring in piano and songwriting.He hopes to enter the academic world as a researcher and educator, bringing his unique background to his work, conducting musicological studies that focus on trans and neurodiverse experiences and their connection to music.On top of music, Marco is also a visual artist and actor.His teaching approach prioritises profound respect, autonomy, connection, curiosity, and accessibility.Marco has found success working with folks on Jazz piano to round out their learning, singers getting back into the swing of things after a long hiatus, people interested in the academic side of music, and all sorts of folks!He has also found success with some very exciting group programs such as summer musical theatre intensives, singing, songwriting and theory workshops!Marco’s goal is to create a learning environment that best suits each student. Whether you are someone who wants to dabble in a bit of music, a professional that needs some support, or somewhere in between, whatever your musical background may be, Marco’s got your back.
