Karla has witnessed how traditional violin education can be strict and formal, which is why she offers a more fun and flexible approach to violin lessons for students of all ages, from kindergarten to seniors. Her innovative teaching method helps students prepare for performances at orchestras, recitals, and music festivals, and achieve great success in RCM exams.Since 2018, Karla has been dedicated to supporting her students' musical journeys. She recognizes the unique challenges of learning the violin and provides especially encouraging guidance for adult beginners. Understanding that embarking on the journey of learning the violin is a significant commitment, Karla offers a supportive environment to help adult students succeed.In response to the lack of adult student violin ensembles in Vancouver, Karla has created her own ensemble. This provides a welcoming and enjoyable space for violinists of all skill levels to practice and perform together.Karla also focuses on helping students develop unique practice techniques, discover their personal sound, and expand their musical knowledge.
