I’m Len, CEO and co-founder of WellnessLiving. First, let me tell you about our story. Getting here wasn’t easy, but I’m proud of how we did it—it took a lot of hard work, support from the music community, and a little bit of fate.
In 2009, I started a bootcamp that grew into a business with multiple locations across North America. As the business grew, I was overwhelmed with the increasing fees from my business management software: Mindbody. I knew there had to be a better solution.
By luck, I ran into my childhood friend, Sasha Davids, while on vacation in Jamaica. We spent the whole week catching up and I shared the challenges I was facing with my customer relationship management (CRM) and scheduling software and knew I wasn’t alone.
Sasha and I put our heads together and built an affordable, easy-to-use, and customizable platform for our customers. Every software feature is developed with music studio owners like you in mind. Our tools also make communication with your clients a breeze. Just ask Yana Fishman, the director of 88 Keys Music and Discovery Center in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. I had a wonderful conversation with Yana as part of our CEO Tour—a passion project of mine where I visit our customers, listen to their amazing stories, and even try a class myself.
When I spoke to Yana, she told me she absolutely loves the tools in our automated marketing suite, particularly the email marketing component. On her old system, automated marketing wasn’t even built into the software. At times, sending a single email was a chore and she was bouncing from platform to platform just to communicate with clients. Yana needed a solution that allowed her to send an email to multiple clients at one time.
That’s where we came in. Yana now can create custom email campaigns and send them to specific groups of clients so they will know if and when their class schedules change and if there are any upcoming promotions. Yana can even track whether her clients open their emails so she knows whether her staff need to get in touch with someone to remind them of any important events.
