Troubleshooting: A transaction fails when charging one credit card for multiple transactions

Problem

If two clients are using the same credit card with auto-payments enabled on the same date, the payment may fail. This occurs because the processor believes that a duplicate charge has occurred.

Solution

To prevent this occurrence, you must assign the shared credit card to one client’s profile and allow that client to pay for the second client’s purchases. For more information, see Assigning payment to a family member.
