Managing Appointment categories

You can group your Appointment Types into categories to keep them organized. Appointment categories appear as expandable headings on the Appointments page.

In this article: 

To create or modify an Appointment category:

  1. Click the App Drawer button .
  2. In the App Drawer, click Setup.
  3. On the Setup menu, click Appointments.
  4. Create or modify the Appointment category:
    • To create a new category:
      1. Click ADD CATEGORY.
      2. Enter the name of the new category.
      3. Click SAVE.
    • To rename the category:
      1. Click the Edit button .
      2. Enter the name of the category.
      3. Click SAVE.
    • To rearrange the category:
      • Click the Down button  to move the category downward in the list.
      • Click the Up button  to move the category upward in the list.
    • To move an Appointment Type to another category, drag and drop the Appointment Type into the target category.
      • The category must be expanded.

To delete an Appointment category:

  1. Click the App Drawer button .
  2. In the App Drawer, click Setup.
  3. On the Setup menu, click Appointments.
  4. Expand the Appointment category you want to delete. If there are any Appointment Types in the category, delete them or move them to another category.
  5. To the right of the Appointment category, click the Delete button .
  6. In the confirmation popup, click OK.
