Event make-up sessions

When a client misses a session of an Event, they can attend a make-up session. You can configure any Class or Event to be a make-up session for an Event. Make-up sessions can occur at any time, regardless of the original Event’s date range.

Usually, if a client misses a session of an Event and books a Class or Event that qualifies as a make-up session, the Class or Event is automatically marked as a make-up session and considered to be paid. If the make-up session is not automatically applied, you will need to reconcile the missed session. For more information, see Reconciling a missed Event session with a make-up session.

NoteIf you choose to disable make-up sessions for an Event, cancellations of that Event cannot be used to pay for another Event. For example, if a client has booked seven sessions of an Event and cancels all seven sessions of that Event, the client cannot then choose to attend another Event without paying separately. If you want clients to be able to use a canceled session of one Event to pay for another Event, you must enable make-up sessions for the original Event.
