Adding unsubscribe button to custom email template

You can add an unsubscribe button to your email notifications or automated marketing emails. Unsubscribe buttons allow your clients to unsubscribe to emails sent by your business related to the email that you had sent.
Unsubscribe buttons are a type of email variable.

To add an Unsubscribe button to your email template:

  1. Open up the email template that you would like to add an unsubscribe button:
    1. For Notification emails:
      1. In the top menu, click the Setup tab.
      2. In the side menu, click Notifications.
      3. Click on Client Notifications or Staff Notifications in the side menu.
      4. Click the pencil icon next to the notification that you wish add an unsubscribe button.
    2. For Automated Marketing emails:
      1. Click on the App Drawer.
      2. Click on Automated Marketing.
      3. Click the pencil icon next to the email, or click on ADD next to the template you would like to add an unsubscribe button
  2. Click in the Email Content box where you would like to add the unsubscribe button.
  3. Type [ButtonUnsubscribe] where the unsubscribe button should appear. This variable will be replaced by the button when the email is sent.
    Type [ButtonUnsubscribe] into the Email
  4. Click the SAVE button to save your changes.
