Born to a hippy, artist mother, and business father; Michael Jay has honed his creativity, passion, and a love of yoga since (literally) forever.
Michael comes from a design and marketing background and has owned and operated an award-winning Community Yoga studio on the outskirts of Vancouver, Canada, for 13 years. He sold his profitable studio 5 years ago, became a Certified Business Coach and has been helping yoga studios and solopreneur yoga instructors thrive.
Known for the Yoga Alliance ‘Business of Yoga’ webinar series, Michael has also led training and webinars worldwide.
He is a champion of building yoga communities and developing systems for yoga business owners. As a seasoned yoga instructor and business owner with more than 25 years of experience, Michael understands first-hand the importance of building community and relying on data to find clarity, direction, and ultimately, success in one’s business.
He recently launched Yoga Biz Camp – a coaching and course platform, and popular industry Podcast by the same name.
