Do you experience mood swings? Depression, anxiety, or other
stressors that challenge your mental health? In this workshop,
you’ll explore yoga techniques and learn when to apply them to help
you stay steady in your daily life. During these 2.5 hours we’ll
also discuss the five Vayus (direction that energy moves in the
body), reflect on how they shows up in your life and make a plan
for what tools you can employ (and when) moving forward.
**Please note that yoga is meant to support wellbeing
and should not be a replacement for medication or other treatment
and therapy from their healthcare providers.**

You can complete your training in one of two ways depending on your lifestyle, budget and needs:
- 12 week Intensive program - get it done all at once (Summer Session starts June 1, 2025)
- 1-3 years Extended program - study at your own pace (Summer Session starts June 6-8, 2025)

In this workshop, through the study of yoga philosophy, including dharma, you will learn how to better identify your special purpose in life. We'll explore the tools of sankalpa and pratipaksha bhavana (including what the heck they are!), and how they can keep you on your path of purpose.
Prerequisite: A curiosity about yoga philosophy as well as a desire
to apply yoga to your life off of the yoga mat. Amber loves yoga
philosophy, so it will be a key piece of this workshop. She aims in
her teaching to make it fun, approachable, and practical.

In this 60-minute core training specialty class, students will dynamically challenge not only the abdominals but also the muscles around the trunk, low back, and pelvis using both traditional fitness and yoga movements.
Each class will include a brief warmup, a lot of core-specific
strength and endurance moves and postures, and a quick
cool-down.
Come ready to have fun, challenge yourself physically, and take
away knowledge and skills. Core training is a great addition to any
yoga practice, helping students build functional strength and
muscular endurance central to stability, mobility, and
balance.
Each class is different and unique, and students are encouraged to
attend all or any individually.
