Week 1 (6/1) - Foundations & Strength - Flying on
your hands!
Learn the key muscle engagement, alignment, and drills to support
safe and sustainable upside-down practice. We will explore Crow,
Flying Lizard, and Flying Splits
Week 2 (6/8) - Playing with Flight - Headstand and
Pincha
Explore headstand variations and forearm balancing. We will
introduce more advance transitions, discovering how to lift off
with control.
Week 3 (6/22) - Putting It All Together -
Handstands
Refine your skills, integrate new techniques, and spend plenty of
time practicing your handstand

Step into summer with intention, movement, and mindfulness. Yoga Mala is a powerful practice of 108 Sun Salutations, traditionally performed to welcome a new season with clarity and renewal. This Summer Solstice gathering invites you to reflect on the past six months and set your intentions for the months ahead.
We’ll begin with a journaling exercise and connection moment, allowing space to center your thoughts and discover what you hope to gain from this experience. Using small rocks to keep count, we’ll flow together through the first 27 Sun Salutations, helping you integrate the rhythm of movement and breath. From there, you’ll complete the practice at your own pace, moving through the remaining rounds with personal reflection and flow.
This is more than just a physical practice—it’s an opportunity to release, reset, and realign as we welcome the energy of summer. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to Yoga Mala, come as you are and honor the journey ahead.
