About the Class

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga for deep stretching, relaxing, and healing. Most poses are seated or lying down, incorporating deep breathing techniques and long holds. Yin will focus on stretching the fascia and muscles, increasing flexibility, mindfulness, increasing range of motion, healing injuries, and healing the mind. Yoga props are used to support the body, and essential oils are added to the class to aid in relaxation and balance - pure bliss. (85-95 degrees) Yin yoga is open to all levels.  There will be very little movement, and/or standing.  Please inquire with the instructor or send us a message before class to let us know of any restrictions or questions you may have info@twistedgrityoga.com

Special Instructions

*A yoga mat is required. Twisted Grit offers the use of their mats for a suggested donation of $1 to the Twisted Grit Foundation.  Click the link below or cash is accepted at the register. DONATE ****NO shows will be charged $5 to donate to the Twisted Grit Yoga Foundation. To avoid being charged for your class, you must cancel 1 hour before the class starts. You will lose the class for a late cancellation. *Please bring a sweat towel, water and wear moisture-wicking clothes that are not baggy for optimum comfort. *You must have a doctor's permission if you are pregnant, under 18 years of age, or have any medical conditions that could be affected in the heat. *Children CANNOT be left unattended in the lobby during classes. *A general wellness of being able to get up and down off the floor is recommended.  Please email us if you need other accommodations.   *No cell phones or watches are allowed in the studio Please let us know if there are any questions.  info@twistedgrigyoga.com
