Willow Street Yoga Center
Throughout my life, movement has always been a source of deep calm, self-discovery, and connection with the world. A gateway to knowing and loving myself and the world more deeply. I began with dance as a young child and practiced yoga off and on for 15 years. During a particularly difficult time in my life, yoga became my lifeline as I dug deeper into not just the asana practice, but also the principles and philosophy, pranayama, and meditation. Today, yoga is with me all the time, not just when I am on my mat. I received my RYT-200 yoga teacher training with Meg McCraken, the co-founder of Experience Alaya, in 2023. I’ve had deep studies in the Yamas and Niyamas, Pancha Maya Koshas, and yoga for resilience. I strive to create a safe space that allows us to approach our yoga practice with curiosity—where we explore concepts and ideas such as Ahimsa (non-harming) through movement, breath, and meditation practices. I am honored to share the knowledge passed down from my teacher and my teacher’s teacher with you in hopes that these practices will serve you as well as they have served me and that we can make this a more loving and peaceful world. My classes are designed to be safe, welcoming spaces for exploration and curiosity—where we use movement, breath, and meditation to not only connect with our bodies but to deepen our understanding of yoga’s wisdom.
