Shae Selix has practiced yoga and meditation for over 10 years and trained 300 hours to teach the Jivamukti method in 2018, through his teacher Amanda Moran. His classes combine the modern and the ancient: prepare to build core strength and expand your Sanskrit vocabulary. Through a comprehensive and brisk vinyasa, Shae’s sequences incorporate elements of the five tenets of Jivamukti yoga: Ahimsa (non-violence), Bhakti (Self-realization), Dhyana (meditation), Nada (deep listening), and Shastra (Self-study). In addition to teaching yoga asana, Shae studies Sanskrit, meditation, and yoga philosophy under Manorama, who’s guru, Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati, founded the Yoga Society of San Francisco in 1972.
