Yoga Instructor
Calm Heart Studio Wilson
Dana found yoga 25 years ago after leaving the performance world. In the beginning, yoga was just an exercise practice, but later it became a valuable tool to heal from addiction and mental health issues. With 1,000 hours of training and continuing education in various yoga and somatics modalities, she is now teaching groups and working with clients 1:1 in the clinical field. After completing 3 years of training as a Clinical Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist, Dana is training other therapists with Homebody Healing in Edmonton. In addition, she is a Yoga Alliance certified facilitator of Hatha Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Yin Yoga, and has studied Bhakti Yoga, Somatic Dreaming, Yoga Nidra, and Pranayama. Dana marries science and spirituality in her classes, inviting people to tap into their embodied wisdom through playful exploration. The hope is that we can all feel healthy, joyful, and at home in our bodies.
