HEALING THROUGH BREATH is our meditation class focused on using our breath as an anchor. It is also for those who are trying to improve the quality of their breathing to achieve more relaxation and calm in their nervous system. The pace and rhythm of our breath can have a huge impact on how we feel moment-to-moment. This class explores the different ways you can work with this innate powerful medicine to increase your wellbeing and to help you reconnect with your body and the present moment. Breathing is usually automatic, however, taking the time to control and be present with our breath allows us to receive wonderful and healing benefits including decreasing mental and physical stress, reducing anxiety, improving sleep quality, increasing mindfulness, and enhancing our cognitive performance. All levels of experience welcomed.
Our BREATHE classes involve sitting or laying down so it is best to wear loose and warm clothing to ensure that you are comfortable for the duration of the class. Please remember to bring the following: 1. A single or queen sized flat sheet to lay over the bed (minimum 200 cm x 80 cm) 2. A throw or blanket to cover yourself 3. OPTIONAL: A journal and pen We understand that sometimes you may forget to bring your props. If this is the case, $5 will be payable in-studio so we can lend you a flat sheet and blanket. Please arrive with your gear and a MINIMUM OF 5 MINUTES PRIOR to class as we lock the doors right at the time of the class. Cancellation policy We have a 12 hour cancellation policy.
