Insturctor Approval is required to register for this class. Intermediate Reformer is intended for individuals with a strong understanding of Pilates movement priciples, vocabulary and retention of the classical intermediate level exercises. Examples of intermediate exercises include: Rollover, Shortspine massage (Inversion with loaded spinal flexion),Swan (spinal extension),Teaser, Longstretch (full plank), Rowing Exercises (seated on the carraige and kneeling) standing balancing front and side splits. *Intermediate reformer will flow at a faster pace and require quicker transitions from participants. Participants must be able to kneel on the reformer and perform standing balancing exercises. *Participants must be free of new injuries, recent joint replancements and able to modify exercises on their own. Equipment used: Reformer, Mat, Jump Board, Small barrels, Power circle, Pilates Ball, Handweights.
