Exercise has been a part of Terry’s life for as long as she can remember. Yoga was introduced to her in her late thirties and it was love at first downward facing dog. As she continued to hone her own personal practice, her passion and thirst for knowledge grew. Terry felt better than she ever had. physically, mentally and emotionally and wanted to share this feeling with everyone! Yoga helped her push past her fear of public speaking and other fears that were holding her back. The practice of Yoga has changed the way she looks at her workout, how she perceives her body and even her outlook on life. To Terry; Yoga is the mind, body, and spirit expressing itself through the breath, postures, and mindfulness of the moments that are being created on the mat. It is the balance of all these together – when it hits you; you are here, you are now and you are present. As an instructor of Yoga, Barre and Pilates, Terry is conscious in using precise cueing, breath, and proper body alignment which ensures you, (the student), are able to feel centered, powerful and balanced in your body throughout the practice.
