Danyelle began her dancing career at a very young age and spent 12 years dancing classical ballet with a professional company. She made the switch to ballroom dancing her senior year of high school and instantly fell in love. Danyelle attended college at Brigham Young University where she competed individually and danced as a member of the university’s ballroom dance company. She has spent the last 10 years competing in ballroom, smooth and Latin as well as touring around the world with BYU to share the magic of ballroom dancing with others. She has trained with professionals from around the world including Oskar Wojciechowski and Karolina Holody, Jonathan Roberts, Valentina Kostenko, Sasha Altukhov and Andre Paramonov. Danyelle has gained teaching experience by teaching at BYUrsity, teaching high school students, private lessons and many large group activities for all ages. She is looking forward to continuing her career as a competitor and instructor with Just Dancing. Whether you are new to Ballroom dance or have been doing it for years, Danyelle’s goal is to make sure you leave feeling good and ready for more!
