Jeffory brings over 22 years of violin and broader music and dance performance experience. At the age of 13, Jeffory started playing the violin and shortly thereafter was awarded the first ever Joseph Schellhardt Memorial Scholarship – a scholarship given by the Springfield Symphony in Missouri –  to study with Dr. Larry Dissmore, Director of Symphonies, at Evangel University. Jeffory later participated in several (audition-only) ensembles in high school. In 2010, he founded the Ophélia String Quartet in Denver, Colorado in which he played 1st Violin. From 2011 – 2012, while pursuing a graduate degree, Jeffory sat in as a permanent guest artist in the first two stands of the 1st Violin section in the Metro State University's performing symphony, the Metro Symphony Orchestra, in Denver, Colorado. Following graduate school, Jeffory continued to perform with the Ophélia String Quartet as Lead Violinist. He also joined the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra violin section and performed in Lone Tree, Colorado for their 2015 - 2016 season. Directly following that season, Jeffory joined the Parker Symphony Orchestra (PSO) where he assumed the role of 2nd Violin Section Leader/Principal. Having moved to New York in 2018, Jeffory ran a short project-based string quartet called Lamagie. He has done several professional gigs and recording sessions in NYC and hopes to continue working with other musicians.
